Anyone who has ever tried to launch a balloon knows that a million things can go wrong (and will). Anyone who has ever done science (that includes third grade science fair projects) knows that experiments often fail, sometimes utterly. So when I had a chance to give a short talk on science gone wrong at the #ScienceFail event, I sure did not lack for subject material.
